Queer skate session for all wheels!
New Wave skate sessions are a safe(r) space for queers and women in skateboarding. We welcome skaters of all levels, first time skateboarders to advanced! Come hang out, have a snack and try out our skatepark, we'd love to meet you! Don't have a board? We've got you! There are boards, shoes and protective equipment in the skatepark that you can borrow for free if you don't have your own.
Skatepark Zuidoost is the first queer and women-led skatepark in Europe. Our sessions are open to all genders, but we ask everyone to be respectful of the skaters that often don't feel safe in regular skate spots.
Nervous about never having been on the board? You might like joining our 'First Time Skateboarding' workshop before the open session to help you ease into it! You can sign up here.
