Don't miss this festive 25th Pride Run!
Experience Amsterdam's most vibrant and colorful running event! On Sunday afternoon, July 21, we will celebrate the 25th edition of the Amsterdam Pride Run in beautiful Amsterdam East. This fantastic event is a shining part of the Queer Amsterdam sports activities.
This year we celebrate not only the Pride Run, but also the 25th anniversary of Rainbow Athletics Amsterdam (formerly Dutch Gay & Lesbian Athletics). We promise a day full of fun, togetherness and inclusiveness. In addition to the iconic run, for the first time we will organize together with Atletiekvereniging23 several athletics events on Sunday morning.
Rainbow Athletics Amsterdam invites everyone who embraces the values of equality, anti-discrimination and international solidarity. The Pride Run represents diversity and inclusiveness in all its forms and colors, within and outside the LGBTQIAP+ community.
Rainbow Pride Run Distances
Choose from 5 km, 10 km or 15 km running. Registration is available for the 15 km if you can complete it within 1 hour and 30 minutes! Walkers are also welcome on a special 5 km walking course. Bring family and friends to this colorful celebration. The three best in each category will win a prize, provided there are a minimum of 3 participants in each category. The 15 km starts at 3 p.m. and the club championship of Rainbow Athletics Amsterdam also takes place that day.
Course and Location
The run starts at Café Restaurant Polder and first goes through the Science Park. After leaving the Science Park, the course turns right onto the Ooster Ringdijk. At the end of the Ooster Ringdijk you run along the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal and then through the Flevo Park. After this you will return to Polder via the Ooster Ringdijk.

- 10 km run - 15.15 hours
- 5 km running - 15.30 hrs
- 5 km walk - 15.20 hours
 Prize-giving ceremony and drinks from 4:30 pm. The course closes 1.5 hours after the start.
Entry fee
The entry fees are:
 5 km: € 12,00 (pre-registration €10,00 )
10 km: € 13,00 (preregistration € 11,00)
15 km : € 14,00 (pre-registration € 12,00)
walking course 5 km: € 10,00
Waterpost
There is a waterpost on the course after every 5 km.

The categories are: women, men and queer. There is also a business run for companies. So if you want to show inclusiveness as a business, be sure to attend.
The awards ceremony will be a lavish party with a DJ and BBQ, starting at 5 p.m.
Don your most colorful outfit, as the most colorful runner will win the coveted Rainbow Pride Run trophy. Please sign up in advance for the BBQ.
