On Saturday, July 27th, Studio/K is hosting a carefully selected queer shorts program, titled Our Poetics. Every short illustrates poetic ways to reconnect with and retell the stories that have shaped our communities and identities, each in its own way. On the 27th, the shorts programme also includes a talk with writer, researcher, and performer Devika Chotoe. In between the shorts, we will reflect on the films on the role of poetic expression in the fight towards queer and decolonial liberation.
The shorts screened are: Goodbye First Love (2024), 315 (2024), Bonnarien (2024), and Area Boy (2023).
