When does Queer Amsterdam take place?
Queer Amsterdam takes place between July 3rd and August 4th. Check out the entire program on the event page.
Are all events free?
We, from Queer Amsterdam, would like all events to be freely accessible. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible for all events because otherwise, some organizations can not make ends meet.
As a solution to the events, we have community tickets available for those who can’t afford to pay the ticket fee. If you are someone who can afford the ticket money, consider giving someone a ticket as a gift.
Where can I find the latest information about the events?
On the website! We work hard to give you the latest information about the events. The information on our social media channels might not be up-to-date due to ad hoc changes. Therefore, always check the events page of the event you want to visit.
What is the difference between Queer Amsterdam and Queer & Pride?
The Queer Amsterdam Foundation organizes a month of events organized for and by LGBTQIAP+ people.
The municipality-subsidized Queer & Pride in Amsterdam will also take place this month. Queer Amsterdam provides the first week of this; July 19th till 26th.
What is Queer Amsterdam's goal?
Queer Amsterdam is committed to improving the lives of LGBTQIAP+ people through events organized for and by their community. Under three key words: Resisting, Recharging, and Reinventing, we are jointly committed to resistance, recharging ourselves, and determining what our future looks like.
Together we pave the way for a future in which our wishes, hopes, and dreams become reality. Stand up with us for what you believe in. Join us to shape that future.
Who consists of Queer Amsterdam?
The Queer Amsterdam Foundation consists of a basic team; a board of 6 and a team of volunteers who are passionate about the various parts of the organization.
In addition, the basic team is looking for people, organizations, and locations from the community to use their expertise to organize a better version of Queer Amsterdam every year.

How does Queer Amsterdam ensure a safe environment during their events?
All organizations and locations that we work with agree to our safe(r) spaces policy. The team members and volunteers present at the events also guarantee safety at their events.
If you do not feel safe at an event, please let us know immediately. This can be done via a volunteer (you can recognize this by the Queer Amsterdam shirt or a Queer Amsterdam bracelet) or via email.
Can I help during Queer Amsterdam?
Unfortunately, the registration period for volunteers for Queer Amsterdam 2024 has already closed.
